A JUMP BACK IN HISTORY IN THIS AMAZING WONDERFUL HOTEL !

Impossible to NOT like this hotel . A part from the book about the hotel s history that you find in your room which was a fantastis suprise - this is really a historical place and you can feel it in the atmosphere. Everything was perfect, staff very helpful and kind and they gave me the room i wanted for which im very grateful, the room was amazing, the view was amazing, the building was amazing...it was silent and very relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic with a lot of great choices and the restaurant was magical with top quality food - my stay was overall basically perfect. THANK YOU for this nice experience. I will be back for sure. Totally worth the price !

Maybe the bacon should be more crispy hahaha ...!

Our stay in Bergen

The hotel is very close to all shops, restaurants and grocery. The hotel staffs were very kind, professional and helpful. Food at the restaurant is good.

Unfortunately, the bed is not comfortable, we booked a junior suite and have 2 small beds joint to make a larger bed, which made a separation between the 2 beds. That was ridiculous for a junior suite it's such a shame!! Cheap soft bedding!!!

Love the hotel- beware the loft rooms on the top floor!

Beautiful, excellent location, superb staff. Rooms are very nice, clean, and the hotel is very nice.

Top floor loft rooms are mine fields- obstacles - you need to duck your head all the time to keep from striking your head- I hit mine with a gash across the top of my head, and our friends husband hit his head as well in these beams which are throughout the room.

Great location to wharf. Lovely breakfast labels might help. Great atmosphere in hotel and very helpful staff.

Location excellent to main wharf sights and restaurants

Corner suite for 2 x2 adults not equal for shared costs Suits families 2x2 couples should get 2 rooms in my opinion

Very Good

The room itself was fantastic, with a brilliant bathroom particularly. Breakfast was lovely in a beautiful dining room. The staff were all excellent.

The bed & pillow were not as comfortable as others that we had on the trip and I didn't sleep that well both nights. Water wasn't replaced for the second day, so just very small gripes. No milk for tea coffee, but we were given some when we asked. USB chargers didnt work, but the staff provided a plug adaptor. The gym was a little disappointing for a hotel of this level.

Perfect location with a stylish & comfortable vibe,

The hotel is a fantastic location and the building and decor is spectacular. We loved having a drink in the bar at night. The breakfast was varied and of a high quality. The staff were highly attentive, but not too overwhelming.

We had a pretty small room right next to a restaurant. The bed was really comfy, but small detail - the pillows were far too soft, so hard to get comfy. Could have done with more pillows or firmer pillows. There was also no milk for coffee or tea in the room, but the team got me some. Very small things.

Great location, great staff, good breakfast, underwhelming shower condition.

The room was spacious and quiet, and it was nice to have some separate room space while traveling with family. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was good, and the location was excellent. The staff was excellent - very helpful and friendly, arranging for taxis and transportation and advising on driving in the city.

The room was very cold, but the hotel brought a heater in to help. The "shower" was a disappointment - we stayed in a suite but somehow the shower condition was just a handheld fixture in a free-standing tub. Resorted to using the shower in another room that my family was staying in.

Wonderful

Location. Buffet breakfast. Room size.

The shower over bath with no curtain or glass. Water went everywhere. The cleaners could have tidied up better (replaced glasses)

Great Location, lovely building

The location is superb, handy for the airport light rail, ferries, pubs, restaurants, the Fløibanen and everything, really. Add to that the beautiful Frescohallen restaurant bar and you've got a winner. What was also a surprise is that they now have a coffee machine you can use at breakfast, on previous visits the instant stuff was terrible. The coffee machine in the room is a boon, as was the view in our usual room.

The so-called "elegant" BARE bar on the third floor is uninspiring to say the least. Considering this used to be a Michelin restaurant, it's all gone wrong somewhere, as confirmed to us by the bar staff, Breakfast is excellent but don't try the hot stuff as it's always cold, even when it comes out of the kitchen.

It was ok but over priced considering the issues at the hotel. We did hear other guests complaining about the same issue

It’s central location

The rooms on the mezzanine were only accessible by getting the lift to floor 3 and then taking the stairs down to floor 2. Not great when carrying luggage. On Sundays breakfast only starts at 8am
